'Intermodal' 70018 rests in heavy rain over the weekend at the' Heavy Haul' Stoke Gifford stabling point. 22-2-15 This 70 caught fire whilst hauling the 4O27 freightliner for Southampton on the Down line in Wallers Ash loop back on 5-4-2012. An assisting loco was sent from Milbrook, with the train on the move at 1836 arriving at Southampton at 1914. This failure was due to a fire in the engine compartment caused by an engine fitter not correctly setting the torque on a hose fitting so that it worked loose, rather than fracturing.
